Scientific Rationale
Prostate cancer is one of the most prevalent male malignancies worldwide, characterized by significant biological and clinical heterogeneity. In recent years, the integration of big data into clinical research and the increasing availability of predictive tools have made clinical decision-making more complex. Furthermore, new scientific evidence is challenging long-established practices, such as indiscriminate therapeutic intensification or the routine adoption of active surveillance.
The structure of this event is designed to promote open discussion between different schools of thought, with the aim of fostering critical and shared reflections on the most effective and appropriate diagnostic-therapeutic pathways. The clinical debate sessions will provide participants with the opportunity to explore the pros and cons of key treatment strategies, while keynote lectures will offer an overview of the most relevant innovations. Finally, surgical video sessions will enable practical immersion into the intraoperative management of complex and atypical cases.
